PSMU Participated at the 24th Russian Education Fair 2023, India
The Russian Education Fair is a unique annual event held in various cities across India to facilitate admissions to the top universities in Russia. This year, the 24th edition of the fair, known as the Russian Education Fair 2023, successfully took place in five cities: Delhi, Patna, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Mumbai. The event garnered tremendous success as a large number of aspiring Indian students attended the fair in each city, expressing their keen interest in pursuing higher education at esteemed Russian universities.
In addition to Perm State Medical University, the Russian Education Fair of 2023 featured renowned government universities from Russia, including Perm State Medical University, Mari State University, Tula State University, St Petersburg University, and Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.
On May 14th, 2023, the fair commenced with an inauguration ceremony attended by notable dignitaries. Mr. Osipov Oleg, the Director of Russian House, New Delhi, and the Head of Education from Russian House, Delhi, along with a representative from the Embassy of the Russian Federation in India, inaugurated the event. Ms. Elena Barman and Air Marshal Dr. Pawan Kapoor, Vice Chairman of Rus Education, were also present during the ceremony, alongside other members of Rus Education.
Esteemed delegates from top Russian universities actively participated in the fair in all five cities, providing valuable guidance and addressing the queries and concerns of Indian students. These delegates included Prof. Oseian Daiana, Teacher of Russian as a Foreign Language of Perm State Medical University; and Prof. Tretiakova Luliia, Assistant Professor of the Polyclinic Therapy Department of Perm State Medical University. Other representatives included Ms. Gladkova Olga, Head of the Institute of International Education, Tula State University; Ms. Lopach Olesia, Head of the Admissions Office for International Applicants; Ms. Butlerovskaia Angelina, Specialist of Admissions Office for International Applicants of St Petersburg University; Ms. Bastrakova Natalia, Deputy Director of Work with Foreign Students of the Medical Institute, of Mari State University; and Prof. Liashchenko Diana, Professor of the Department of Anatomy, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Orenburg State Medical University.
Throughout the fair, Prof. Oseian Daiana and Prof. Tretiakova Luliia made diligent efforts to provide the best opportunities for Indian students aspiring to pursue higher studies in Russia, particularly in the field of MBBS at Perm State Medical University. Numerous students and parents who attended the fair in different cities had the opportunity to interact with the professor, gaining valuable insights and knowledge about the university, its programs, the admission process, discounts on admissions, scholarship opportunities, personalized counseling, and more.
The fair concluded successfully in Mumbai on May 21, 2023, with the presence of several distinguished individuals. H.E. Mr. Aleksei V. Surovtsev, the Consul General of Russia in Mumbai, graced the event with his esteemed presence, adding to its prestige. Prof. Shvetsov Mikhail N., the Rector of Mari State University, also honored the fair with his attendance. Furthermore, Ms. Elena Remizova, the Director of the Russian House in Mumbai, actively contributed to the event's success. Air Marshal (Dr.) Pawan Kapoor (Retd.), Vice-Chairman of Rus Education, along with other senior members of the organization, played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and positive outcome of the fair. Their presence added expertise and prestige to the event, creating enhanced opportunities for students and parents to engage with representatives from leading Russian universities.
Among the attendees of the fair, a number of students enrolled for MBBS at Perm State Medical University. Overall, both students and parents benefited greatly from the Russian Education Fair 2023.
