Award Ceremony Of the Students For City Interuniversity Olympiad

Various students from Perm State Medical Unversity recently participated in the III City Interuniversity Olympiad in the Russian language. Many students from the first-year foreign students in the perm region participated in the Olympiad via an online medium last autumn.

The olympiad for this year was conducted by the Perm State Agrarian and Technological University (PSATU) named after academician D.N. Pryanishnikov, who arranged a warm welcome of the students from the Perm State Medical University (PSMU)

After the introductory speech was given by the teacher of PSATU and the director of international relations Ms Oksana Vladimirovna Fotina where she thanked the students for their active participation in the Olympics and expressed her hope for the continued successful cooperation of PSMU and PSATU.

This year saw the largest number of participants was from the Perm State Medical University in all three rounds.

Many students from the PSMU participated and achieved a ranking in this olympiad. On 10th July 2021, the university conducted an award ceremony for all the students who had participated and won in the olympiads.

About the experience of the olympiad, "Oh the quiz, I was able to give correct answers, not to all the questions, and this prompted me to learn more about Perm and the Perm Territory in order to further defend the honour of the university," says Robin Kasana, a 1st-year student of the Faculty of Medicine.

In the closing ceremony, the Indian participants from PSMU conveyed their thanks to the organisers in the form of a peppy dance.

"It was a wonderful day: we received certificates, souvenirs, took part in a quiz, and now we have a lot of photos with classmates," says Shivani Sarvottam, a 1st-year student of the medical faculty of PSMU.
